At Rowan Academy, we place emphasis on teaching age-appropriate life skills in conjunction with focused academic objectives. Each child reaches these essential milestones through experiential learning opportunities such as cognitive development, conflict resolution, independence, resilience, critical thinking, sensory processing, fine motor, gross motor and school readiness skills.
Rowan Academy’s individualized program is designed to support optimal learning through the integration of small class sizes, dedicated teachers, strong relationships within our preschool community, and access to small group work to enhance kindergarten readiness skills. Rowan Academy believes these are the core foundations facilitating the limitless possibilities of each of our students.
At Rowan Academy, we believe children flourish in a play-based, experiential learning environment. We are a social-emotional development based program, prioritizing school readiness in a sensory-friendly environment.
Children will develop essential school readiness skills through an engaging program that includes art, music, literacy, phonological awareness, math and science.
Each student receives a customized learning plan to prepare for kindergarten and strengthen important life skills.
Our preschool’s hours of operation are 9am to 2pm for students aged 3 to 5 years old.
We are excited to offer the Rowan Academy community scheduled parent education coffees and two parent-teacher conferences with a mid-year check-in to share progress towards goals set at the beginning of the year.
To ensure skills are not lost over the summer break, we offer two weeks of summer camp to be included in the tuition cost.
